Scout has a very high yield potential when fungicide treated, 8% above Riviera. Scout has performed particularly well in the HGCA North East region, 2% above its UK yield and 11% above Riviera. Scout also has a very high untreated yield, 5% above Riviera.

Scout has a good specific weight.
Scout has very good resistance to mildew (8) and brown rust (7) but is susceptible to yellow rust.
